CE Spring Social
The UNM chapter of Chi Epsilon held a spring bbq social March 28th, 2014 where we served hamburgers and potato salad. We advertised to all of the civil department staff and students of all levels but really aimed at the freshmen/sophomore levels. The main goal was to connect the students with the various student activity groups in the civil engineering department here at UNM. It turned out to be a beautiful day and everyone was socializing.
Rocky Mountain Conclave in Utah
This year was Chi Epsilon's rocky mountain district's turn to host the bi-annual conclave. It was hosted in Salt Lake, Utah by the University of Utah and lasted 3 days. Many schools attended from every state in the U.S. with Chi Epsilon chapters. Along with planning the bi-annual budget and discussing rules and regulations of the organization, we all went off on various field trips to see capital buildings, churches and even the olympic park. The event was closed with an optional ski day.
