Dr. Mark Stone was recently awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation to investigate the influence of riparian vegetation on flood waves. The aim of the research is to improve tools used to predict flood wave propagation and the effectiveness of riparian restoration in reducing the risk of flooding. Read More
