Each Spring the Rocky Mountain Catalysis Society sponsors a conference to promote and encourage the growth and development of the science of catalysis and affiliated scientific disciplinesThe 2022 conference was held at Colorado School of Mines, Golden Colorado. Ryan Alcala a 3rd year Graduate Student with the Datye Research Group presented "The role of cofed H2 on silica supported Pt-alloy catalysts for improved stability during propane dehydrogenation." Ryan received 3rd place for his oral presentation and $50 prize. The conference, Rocky Mountain Catalysis Society, is a regional section of the North American Catalysis Society. Ryan will travel to New York to attend the national meeting where he will present a similar version of the talk.
